modified for weight. But it does not weigh much at all really once you cut out everything. Plus it allows me to use a lot of the stock placements for gauges. Going with a fabricated dash, similiar to Zlab is great but I just thought this would be the easier way to go. Every single assembly in the car has been touched up to shave weight, if at all possible. From subframe to dash panels, everything got the review for what could be removed or lightened as a whole. We've cut some serious weight in the car, but sometimes I have to make decisions for simplicity like that. Sorry Tony, and PS.... the car will never be a TT. Way to easy to go that route, wanted a challenge and to represent for the NA man.
